In the winter you can enjoy the old -su-interior-pueblos-blancos,town, and in the summer it´s beach bars, nightlife, and promenade.

During the summer months the best part of the city for nightlife in Cadiz, Spain. In winter all the action moves over to the old -su-interior-pueblos-blancos,town.

Start off at Plaza de Mina in the old town. You´ll find all the good bars within easy walking distance from here. In Cádiz it´s quite normal for groups of friends to drink alcohol outside on the streets before going into the clubs and bars. It´s a cheaper option and great fun too; there´s always a lively, social atmosphere on the streets. You can stay outside till the early hours before heading off down to La Punta - the nightclub strip.

They mostly play Spanish music in the clubs. Occassionally you´ll the odd English or American tunes. Check out El Malecon or the Amphitheatre on the strip; you´re bound to have a good night there. Also, try the Irish bar, O´Connells on Plaza San Francisco. The staff are friendly and it´s always great craic !

Also, don´t forget the chiringuitos (beach bars). You´ll find them in front of the new town. During the summer, they get jam-packed. Great places to chill out, you´ll see some excellent sunsets too.
