Los Canos de Meca is a small coastal -su-interior-pueblos-blancos,town on the Costa de la Luz near Cadiz. During the winter it’s deserted, but in summer it becomes extremely busy.

Surfers, windsurfers and beach lovers come from all over Spain and Europe to enjoy the beaches and climate. The landscape here is rugged and windswept; it’s stunning. There are beautiful beaches, dramatic cliffs and lush pine trees all around the area.

Los Caños is well known as a famous windsurfing spot. During the winter months there are excellent wave conditions for body boarding and surfing. Snorkeling, scuba-diving and fishing are also very popular.

Although still a relatively unknown location, Los Caños is quickly developing a reputation as a trendy summer hot spot. A laid back mixture of hippie and surf culture, similar to that you’d find in Tarifa, further down the coast.
