There are enough nightclubs and discos in Cadiz to ensure an entertaining night out. There are a host of nightclubs that provide live music or DJ's spin the latest club tracks both international and local.

A growing student population has helped the nightlife and now the nightclubs and discos in Cadiz offer some fun and attractive nights out.

The most popular area is the Punta de San Felipe or more commonly known as 'La Punta'. The tip of this harbour is filled with nightclubs and discos.

For alternative and live music head to 'Sala Supersonic'. A nice touch is the outdoor patio before the entrance, which is a good spot to watch all the crazed revelry. Drinks are relatively cheap and offers a nice change from the large majority of clubs on show here that tend to play the same blend of hip-hop and reggaeton. 'Soul Extreme' is another club that tries to do something different and is a big hit with international students, particularly those on Erasmus.

Cadiz's sole superclub stands at the very end casting a shadow over the whole strip. 'Imagina' boasts the biggest dancefloor and in June opens its terrace making it one of the top venues of the summer. They manage to attract top DJ's who tend to play a mix of electro and house.

If you find yourself in the old town then try out 'Spam'. One of the few enjoyable clubs in the old part. Small but friendly and a big enough dancefloor to shake your thing.

There are typically no entry fees to discos in Cadiz with 'Imagina' being the exception on certain nights.
